Responsibilities :
- Candidates should be responsible for the customer support experience with Microsoft.
- Candidate should participate in building communities with peer delivery roles.
- Candidate should drive technical collaboration & engagement outside of CSS (Product Engineering teams/Services/Support/Regions).
- Candidate should provide ramp activities, knowledge sharing, technical coaching and mentoring.
- Candidate should contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation and other digital self-help assets to improve customer/ engineer experience.
- Candidates should create and maintain incident management requests to product group/engineering group.
- Candidate should identify cases that require escalation (either technically or strategically).
- Candidate should own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices and transparency within and across teams (e.g. swarming).
Skills Required :
- Candidate should have knowledge in Linux / OSS Administration.
- Candidates should have Knowledge of container technology and fluency in Kubernetes Linux / OSS.
- Candidate should have familiarity with one, or more, shell environments (BASH, sh, tcsh, ksh, etc.).
- Candidates should have experience with Linux script-based development environments and tools (PERL, Python, Ruby, PhP, etc.).
- Candidate should have experience in Core Linux administration (boot process, file systems, network device and protocol configuration).
- Candidates should have familiarity of Docker/Container/AKS.
- Candidate should have expertise in managing cluster environment (SUSE, RedHat, Veritas).
- Candidates should have Familiarity with core OS services such as: SSH, telnet, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, Samba, LDAP.
- Candidate should have understanding of the OSI model and related concepts.
- Candidates should have preferred knowledge of Cloud Networking.
- Candidate should have understanding of Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration (Hyper-V, VMWare, Xen configuration and administration).
- Candidates should have knowledge of LDAP, Security and OS Internals concepts.
- Candidates should have knowledge of networking tools (ping, tracert, tracemon, tcpdump, etc.).
- Candidate should have knowledge of container specific networking concepts such as CNI.
- Candidates should have knowledge of networking concepts including VIPs, NAT, DNS.
- Candidates should have understanding of load balancing, geo-redundancy, CDN and VPN technologies preferred
- Candidate should have Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform services.
- Candidates should have knowledge of azure Platform development and deployment concepts.
- Candidates should have familiarity with development: tools, language, process, methods, troubleshooting
